Scholarships for Graduating Seniors

We will help you get there!

2021 Applications

In 2021, the Superior Chamber of Commerce will award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live in the Town of Superior.

Applicants can attend any high school and can be planning to attend any college, university, or another accredited training program or school. All planned courses of study or training are welcome.  Awards will be payable to the school directly (not to the individual), and awards may be deferred a maximum of one year.

Applicants will be judged based on their academic performance; community and extracurricular involvements; a recommendation from a teacher, coach, or another advisor; and their response to a prompt (see below).  These scholarships are not need-based.

Applicants will need to submit an official high school transcript and the name and contact information for their reference.  Additionally, we ask for an essay of 1,000 words or fewer to this question:

Discuss a business trend that has been impacted or accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic.  How should a local economy cope with this change, and how can a chamber of commerce assist?  Please provide examples.

The deadline to apply for 2021 scholarships is Friday, April 23, 2021.  Recipients will be notified no later than May 7, 2020.

Questions may be directed to T.J. Sullivan, Superior Chamber Executive Director, via email. Thank you for your interest in this vital community engagement component of the Superior Chamber of Commerce!
