Sullivan was hired to lead the Superior Chamber in 2019. He was specifically directed to modernize the organization’s image and impact. Prior to leading the chamber, Sullivan was a successful Higher Education entrepreneur and trainer for nearly 30 years.

“Chamber of Commerce executives have been the glue that has held the business community together through this pandemic,” said Dot Miller, ACCC Executive Director. “T.J. has been a champion for Superior, has created innovative new programs, and has made a small community chamber a real model for others throughout the state.”

In the first days of the pandemic, Sullivan and his team raised thousands for meals for essential workers and mobilized area residents to support struggling restaurants. He successfully lobbied for increased financial support from the Town of Superior and completely overhauled the chamber’s website and marketing.

The mission of the Superior Chamber of Commerce is to strengthen, support, and promote the economic vitality of its member businesses and the community of Superior.
