In cooperation with the Town of Superior’s Cultural Arts and Public Spaces (CAPS) Advisory Committee, the Superior Chamber of Commerce will begin recognizing a “Creative Business of the Year” at its 2021 Annual Awards event. The new award will recognize a creative business or professional who brings significant impact and/or value to the Superior community.

The award recipient may be located inside or outside of Superior but should have made an impact on the Superior community in some meaningful way.  The recipient does NOT need to be a member of the Chamber.

“This is a wonderful partnership between CAPS and the Chamber,” said Stephanie Miller of InBank, president of the Chamber board. “This will be a fantastic way to recognize those individuals, businesses, and organizations who make Superior a vibrant, uniquely beautiful community.”

You can nominate a deserving creative business or professional until April 30, 2021, at Noon.  Self-nominations are welcome. The nomination form is HERE.

The Chamber will continue the award in successive years. A representative of the CAPS advisory committee will serve on the Chamber’s Awards Selection Committee as part of the partnership.

The first “Creative Business of the Year” award will be presented at the Chamber’s invitation-only Annual Awards event on Tuesday, June 8, at the Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette.  More information on the Chamber’s annual awards is HERE.  The Chamber will be announcing award honorees the last week of April, but the Creative Business of the Year honoree will be announced a bit later, in early May.
