Financial help remains available for the following:

  • Renters and homeowners who had homes damaged or destroyed or who were displaced by the Marshall Fire,
  • Those with homes that have been uninhabitable due to the fire,
  • Those who lost wages for work or had small businesses that were destroyed or damaged (Boulder Community Foundation/Boulder County application), and
  • Those who lost tools of the trade needed to do their work due to the fire.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is providing disaster assistance in the following ways:

  • Apply in-person 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Disaster Recovery Center at 1755 S. Public Road, Lafayette, Colorado 80026.
  • Apply by calling 800-621-3362.
  • Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Apply using the FEMA mobile app for smartphones.

The Small Business Administration is providing help through federally-funded low-interest disaster loans. The deadline to apply for physical disaster is March 1, 2022. The deadline to apply for loss of income is September 30.

  • Residents and business owners may apply in-person assistance at the Disaster Recovery Center located at 1755 S. Public Road in Lafayette, Colorado 80026.
  • Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information, and download applications at https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov.
  • Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance.
